BBT measuring on night shift?

Question

So, I work night shifts as a pediatric nurse. On my days off, I have a normal schedule: wake up in the morning, go to bed at night. However, when I'm working, I got to bed in the morning and wake up at all different times.

When should I measure my bbt?

I do it when I wake up. Sometimes it's 3pm(nights I work and sleep 9a-3p), sometimes it's 645am(nights off). It's your resting temp so it needs to be taken as soon as you wake up before even getting out of bed.

This is my first month doing it, but most days I was 97.4-97.5 and two days (after ovulation) I spiked up to 98.4.
