Second ultrasound?

When are you supposed to get your second ultrasound? I'm 10 weeks 4 days today and had my first done at 8 weeks 2 days.

Atmy obgyn u only got 2.one at 8 weeks and one at 20 weeks.

Depends on your doctor. I got one @ 7 wks for dating, will have another on Monday (12w5d) for sequential scan, then around 20wk for anatomy scan

After Christmas I will be 18 weeks so another month still we will find out what we are having and it will be my second ultrasound

My next is set a private center at 15 weeks... R only get 3.. 8 weeks, 20 weeks, 33 weeks..

I got one at 6w4d but only bc of an emergency room trip. I had the second at 8w4d (that prob would of been my first if not for the ER)....my next is dec 15...I'll be 13w3d.

Some doctors hand them out like candy and others only give you 2 or 3 at the most. Just depends. I think it also depends on your insurance.

My doc is US happy lol we had one at first apt, then second apt to double check due date and he offered to do it at our 3rd apt at 15 weeks to check for gender!

I'm high risk due to lupus, so I get one every 2 weeks - this might be the first ever perk of having lupus.
