So I’ve just found out I’m 5 weeks pregnant, I’ve just recently started seeing the guy.

We are both 23. He has told me he doesn’t think we should have the baby ( these are his reasons )

We don’t live together, it’s a new relationship, we are too young, we can’t afford it, it’ll ‘ruin our relationship’ and it’s too soon to have kids

He’s telling me I don’t have to pay for anything and that we should get an abortion.

I’ve had one in the past and I’ve explained to him that I don’t want another one cause it was horrible. So I wonder if I really want my child to have a father like this or be in an unstable environment

He did say he would support me if I decided to keep it , but after these comments I’m not sure

I have had our close mutual friend messaging me telling me to book the appointment, I’ve also had my mum telling me I shouldn’t go through with it but she will support me either way

I know at the end of the day it’s my decision and at the start I was keeping the baby but all this is making me think I’m making the wrong choice.

Does anyone think these are okay excuses for him to be making?

The way I see it, we both didn’t knew better and didn’t use protection. Why should the life have to suffer?
