When does ewcm occur?

So I saw a bit of ewcm this morning,  but as usual, it's not a huge amount.  I have been using opk's this month, and they said I have not ovulated yet (and they aren't coming back with dark test line results). Could this be a sign that I'm going to be ovulating soon?  How soon before ovulating do you all notice ewcm?

Before ovulation its called transitional cervical mucus which is like egg whute but has a slight cloudy/yellow tinge and when you ovulate it is clearer and more like egg whites but I've heard it can be classed as watery as well as stretchy! It's so confusing isn't it?! Xxx

Yes its a sign you will be ovulating soon. It will get waterier when you ovulate. Keep taking opks and you should get a positive within the next few days xxx
