Best place to register for baby shower?

Wheres the best place to register? I was thinking about registering at target but then someone told me that target is a little on the expensive side and that I should go with kmart.

I'm probably going to register at target / and babies r us . We already have a ton of baby stuff because my oldest is only 14 months .. So if it's a boy , I'll probably just have a diaper shower ! We had enough diapers that we got at our baby shower to last from July 2013 all the way until march 2014 !

I was thinking Target was a more accessible place to register. I am thinking about going there and either Babies R Us or Buy Buy Baby (which is really expensive and I hate the name alone). Sigh...

I registered at baby's r us because they had the bed set I wanted with a lot of other cool things too. For jut baby essentials, Target is great and easy for people to shop.

I'm liking babys r us cause they have a 10% cash back deal. They explained everything so well when we went in and they completely sold me. I even canceled my registry with buy buy baby.

A friend got gift vouchers so could spend it on what she wanted. This has worked well for a few people.

​Or my sister gave a list of things she wanted / needed with the invites and asked people to text the person arranging the shower with their purchase to prevent multiple people buying the same thing. This allowed people to shop around and spend how much they wanted.

​Or another friend asked for essentials only, like wipes, nappies, etc.

​I guess I'm funny about registering somewhere as it's saying you expecting gifts, but saying if you want to but a gift here are some suggestions seems a nicer way to go. But that's me.
