Show me your indoor (or outdoor!) plant babies

H

And share any good tips you’ve learned! I’ll share mine below 🥰

I really took to plants when Covid hit apparently lol.

• Use a chopstick to measure your plants moisture in pots - although the soil above may show as dry the bottom of the pot could still have enough water!

• Banana (peel) water and pasta water are AMAZING to water your plants with!

• Cinnamon sprinkled on your plants soil can stop mold, fungus and gnats! You can also sprinkle on your leaves that have been eaten to help it heal!

• Unlike succulents when you propagate a Pothos - it needs to go directly into water instead of drying out first!

• Your leaves will tell you everything you need to know whether it’s lacking nutrients, over or under watered too!

• We also just started a composting bucket of coffee grounds (used) egg shells and some banana peels will go in there too!

• Proper drainage is important for ALL plants!!

I also have a giant aloe that I’ve raised since a tiny baby but the only photo I have of it large is so embarrassing because I had to be in the photo all excited 😅😂😂 Proud moment I guess
