Co-sleeping to crib

Is anyone else getting ready to try the transition from co-sleeping to crib? We did a few nights when our baby was younger but my anxiety and a creepy feeling( not a joke. I would feel like someone was going to the baby's room and would wake my husband up right before our baby would scream. I was freaked out) quickly put an end to it.

Anyway, my little guy is now one and tonight is the first night I have moved him into a crib. He is still basically right next to me but I feel anxious. Normally I wake up multiple times a night and check on him. It's been a few hours and I haven't slept yet and I've checked on him a........ A few times. I'm having a hard time with this transition. Lol. Anybody else going through this?
