How do you clean your walls?

Do you clean the walls in your house? I never have before and my parents never did. Our bathroom is getting this gross stuff on the walls. I guess it happens when it gets really steamy in the bathroom. I was scrubbing them with a magic eraser but now I’m afraid I messed up the paint. The first pic is showing the gross walls and then the second is showing how the paint looks streaky now. I’m hoping it will look normal once dry.

I clean with a magic eraser first to remove stains (three kids) then I go over it with a soapy washcloth to prevent streaks.

I have the o-Cedar spin bucket so every time I buy a new attachment for the Mop I literally Mop the walls with vinegar and a tiny bit of Clorox  My walls always look super white and new , And then i just disinfect my Mop I leave in water with vinegar for a whole day

Hot water and bleach in a spray bottle, in a well ventilated room only. Spray an area, wipe and keep going till you’ve done it everywhere. Rinse the rag in hot water to remove dirt between areas. I do this on painted baseboards also. Everything sparkles that way!

I am a custodian at a school  every summer we clean the walls. We use window cleaner on a  foam mop. To clean the walls. The foam mop allows  you to reach the whole wall without needing a ladder.

I use my vacuum with the brush attachment to get dust and pet hair off. Then I just use a cleaning rag with some all purpose cleaner and wipe them down/scrub any stains. I’m not a big fan of magic erasers. They make a horrible noise and they don’t last very long.
