Late Period

I am late by 5 days for my period. Now my last period was 10 days late but I have a super strong feeling that I am pregnant this time. Do I take a test or wait it out? Don’t really want to be disappointed but everyone’s saying if I have a gut feeling then I should just do a test🤔
