New to long distance

My boyfriend recently left for basic and I’ve been feeling really lonely and lost without being able to see him or talk to him. He is not coming home until Christmas and then he leaves again to North Carolina for 2 years. Knowing we will be apart for so long is really hard for me to deal with, I am new to all of this and I would really appreciate some advice :(
