Breastfeeding
My 5 week old baby has always fed for about 10 minutes or less total on one side since my milk has come in and has always seemed satisfied. I was worried she wasn’t gaining weight because if she ate for longer she would spit up so much so I took her into the doctors to make sure and she was gaining. If I feed her for longer than her normal she spits up constantly. She has wet/poopy diapers throughout the day and when she is given a bottle she eats 3.25 ounces and acts the same after she gets done nursing as she does with a bottle. Should I try and have her eat longer or would she let me know if she is not full? I don’t want to freak out again but I’m so worried. I hear they won’t overeat but I think my baby would be nursing all day if she could, hungry or not. I’m sure her doctors office has my number memorized and if I don’t need to call again then I’d rather not. Please help 😩😩 TIA
