I know this sounds crazy but I was googling a name I really like for my baby girl and an obituary came up for an infant with the same exact name , would this bother you?

I mean people die all the time so every name is already attach to someone who isn’t living in one way or another.
I wouldn’t be bothered or feel like it’s a bad omen either.

For me it would be an ominous start, if that was the first thing that came up. I would prob be a bit unsettled and would change something, either middle or first name. I am a superstitious person though.

The likelihood of someone having the name you pick for your child and that person being dead is extremely high

A lot of people name their child after someone who has passed on, I think your baby will be just fine!🙂

At first, I would be bothered… but at the end of the day, people die every day with the same name as someone else. It’s not like you’re naming her after that baby. If you love the name, go for it. But if you’ll feel funny about it, then maybe not… maybe switch up the middle name
