Dry Text.....Should I stop talking to him?

I’ve started talking to this guy and we went on a date together recently and it went really well. In person he is a cool and interesting guy but over text he text super dry....it makes me feel discouraged to continue trying to talk with him...

I read online that some guys act like that because they don’t want fo seem too eager or get the girls hopes up, but He just seem toooo dry. Like I ask him how his dah has been and he just says “Pretty good” and thats it. I know he could be busy since he is a senior an may just be working on his projects but I just.... I don’t want to continue talking with him if he is not even interested ☹️ What should I do?
