Im 2 weeks post c section today, ans havent been on meds since day 10.  And my neighbour stop by with a gift for me. Some wine and would like a glass.... Anyone elss have a drink yet?.. I also healdd alot quicker this time around...

Heck yes girl it’s Cinco de Mayo so we’re making margaritas tonight! I’ve also had some wine with dinner a few times and it’s been glorious!  I can only handle small glasses filled about 1/5, but it’s still better than nothing. Since I did IVF I’ve literally not had a drink since January 2020! 😱

Lol I am so focused on recovery that I'm avoiding anything that will be expensive energetically. I'm one week postpartum. But I'm an older mom of 4. I just want to feel balanced and healthy more than anything. So I'm doing lots of liquids, fruits, veggies. This is my last baby and I've learned this post partum period is so critical and can be so amazing if healing is done right. Everything starts to tighten back up slowly, so I'm trying to make sure I stay hydrated and keep things moving so I don't have any trouble bringing my hips and core back into balance. I have a postpartum doula who will do massages for me each week to recover. So

Yes!!! I’ve had a glass of wine or a cocktail in the afternoon to calm my nerves! It’s totally ok and we’re human! Cheers to all the new moms

I tend to have a drink or two everynight, definitely missed alcohol
