Mirena help!!

So I've had the IUD mirena for a little over a year. I've been thinking about getting it removed because it's caused me to have such bad acne that I've never had before and I've gained so much weight I feel horrible. I only like it because it lasts so long and I don't have to take a pill every day. I have it to help with my horrible periods but I hate the side effects.
