Do you mean polygamy? It's completely legal to practice polyamory, at least in the states and Canada I know it is. Just can't form a legal union with more than 2 people. That being said, it should remain legal. In regards to polygamy, I say to each their own, so long as it's legal and consensual.

Some people don’t approve it that’s why they say it’s not legal.
