I need some advice.

I was told not to insert my progesterone until after we have sex.

However, my partner has a pretty low drive so we only have sex maybe once a week. I never know when it’s going to be. Trying to schedule it with him is a total turn off to him though. If I say “are we going to have sex tonight or should I use my progesterone” then it’s just a straight up no.

There were several nights that I waited until midnight when it was clear it wasn’t happening to insert my progesterone, but then I forgot a few times over the last few weeks because I was too tired. My dosage has been increased (from 200 to 350mg) so now I’m more concerned about missing doses and how it would affect my pregnancy. (It’s to reduce irritable uterus and help prevent placental abruption so ill be on if the remainder of my pregnancy).

Is it really that bad if we end up having sex 30+ minutes after using my progesterone? My mfm appt isn’t for another 2 weeks and she’s terrible about responding to calls or messages she doesn’t feel are urgent 🤪. My OB is great but she’s not the one that prescribed it
