BBT and temp help

I’m having some PMS symptoms and period is due tomorrow. Last month my temps started to drop at 9dpo and I got AF pretty quickly after. This month my temp has been rising the closer I get to AF. Is is normal to rise and then suddenly drop? Or is a rise in temp an indication of pregnancy?
