Covid 19 Vaccine
Hello, what is your stance on the covid 19 vaccine for women specifically? I’m a nanny and I work for a great family with a great little boy. I follow all my guidelines because I have to but not necessarily because I believe they protect me further. I don’t think the mask truly do anything but I remain extremely responsible for my family that I nanny for. They have been hinting at me getting the vaccine and I suppose I’m not fully against it but I’m really not fond of how little research has been done on the vaccine it’s self and how short of time it’s been out. I’m scared of long term side effects that could not only effect me but potentially my future generations.. I love my job but I don’t know if I love it enough to risk my health and I also don’t know how they may feel if and when I tell them that I want to wait on my vaccination until there’s further research. The mom is a surgeon and she really believes in the science but I just don’t know. There’s not even enough science on it to believe in it or that’s how I feel. She did get the vaccine herself and her parents and they are fine but they are also older and don’t plan on having more kids or anything like that. They are all over 40 years old I am only 20. Before working for her at about 15 I opted out of all my vaccinations my parents said it was up to me and it was after I had a bad allergic reaction to a vaccine. When I started the job I did get the flu shot in order to work for her, but flu shots have been around longer than the covid vaccine. No negativity please I’m just young and trying to be smart. I only get one life and one body. Thank you in advance.
