Scheduled c-section anyone?

I’m going to have to have a second c-section since I got pregnant under a year from my last baby. My doctor said he would perform the surgery around 39 weeks and I was wondering if others were doing the same. My due date is Nov. 6th and I’m nervous that he’ll want to do it Halloween night. I don’t like having holiday birthdays. I want my baby to have his own special day. 😣

My first was an emergency c section, but he's 3 1/2 so it's a wait and see situation. She'd like for me to try to do a VBAC if possible.

I’m having a scheduled c section! This will be my second :)

This will be my 4th. The rules have changed along the way (2nd was delivered at 38 weeks, 3rd at 39). Sometimes there is some wiggle room within a day or 2 but it depends on the dr/hospital/etc. 
My due date is November 1 and I’m so glad I should be avoiding Halloween. But my niece is October 29 and it’s not that big of a deal.

They won’t do it Halloween because it’s a Sunday. Most scheduled C sections are scheduled for weekdays. My hospital only schedules them on Mondays Tuesdays and Wednesdays so even though my first was a scheduled c section “a week before” it was actually done only 3 days before my due date.

I’m due Nov 23, my c section will be about a week before my due date. Hoping I can convince I dr for Nov 12. My sons birthday is the 22nd of Nov so I want them at least a week a part and want to be home from the hospital in time for his birthday.

Halloween falls on a Sunday. My doc said even if I had to have a c-section no way she'd do it on a Sunday. So I wouldn't worry about that. It'd probably be the 1st or the Friday before.

I had a scheduled c section with my second and it was so much easier. My first ended up being an emergency and the recovery was much harder. I will be having another scheduled c section this time around. I’m sure you can ask to have the c section the day before or day after Halloween. I was allowed to pick what day I wanted. I would just ask your doctor 😊

Same but im having my 3rd c section i dont think they do it on weekends and last time they let me choose within 3 days during the week that they did it. I think we are safe to say its going to be the 1st week of November. But id ask just to make sure
