My 1st was ready at 4 months showed every sign she was ready delilah just turned 3 months today and shows no interest like my first did at this age so probably gonna wait until shes 6 months

My first baby was ready at 4 months! Sitting independently, very interested, wasnt thrusting out with his tongue. We introduced tiny amounts for the first month or two. My second wasn’t interested at all until closer to 6 months even though he was sitting independently. All depends on the baby, but if he is not able to sit up and not overly interested I’ll prob wait till closer to 6 with this babe too!

I would look for if they’re ready and not just at age. Our doctor said anywhere from 4-6 months we could start. We waited til after 5 months for our first as she started showing signs that she was interested in what we were eating and could also sit up very well.
Our second sits up excellent already so he may start earlier but we’ll see! 
Either way you start out small with just rice cereal and see how they do with that then go from there.
