Does your partner do anything for Mother’s Day?

I got flowers on Friday sent to my work, which I thought was so sweet. Which is what is making me feel ungrateful. I still woke up with our son today (which I asked my husband to just get up with both of us because it’s my sons birthday too). My son went to the bed and tried and tried to wake him up, which he was awake, but he still wouldn’t get out of bed until he absolutely had to to go to my parents house.

So, I cooked us pancakes and eggs since that’s my sons favorite breakfast, and got us both ready to go. Then after everyone was up and ready, my son pooped in his diaper. I asked him to change it because I’m the one who changes 90% of the diapers. He said no. When I said that it’s Mother’s Day and I felt like since I did everything else he could change one diaper. He said “You’re not MY mom, what does Mother’s Day have to do with it”.

He didn’t say it with an attitude like it reads on text, but he still wasn’t joking.

I just don’t know how to feel. Most of the time I feel like I’m over dramatic or should be happy that he just sent me flowers to work and not ask too much.
