Potty training @ 2

Can I get some insight on potty training your 2 yr old? My little one will use the potty every once n a while but he still isn’t aware of what it feels like when he’s gotta go until he’s already gone. We’ve started to switch to pull ups but again he’s going in em before we can get him on the potty. He’s pretty head strong so asking if he’s gotta pee he says no or just timing it and taking him in he throws a fit bc it’s not what he wants to do. He’s going thru the diapers and pull ups quite quickly which is why I’m thinking it’s time for the potty but I’m a first time mom who is not confident in what I’m doing and need a little guidance
