3 day embryo transfer success?

Hello ladies! Has anyone had success with a day 3 fresh transfer? Yesterday, we transferred our two strongest embryos (both 8 cell grade 1s). Our RE said there wasn’t a need to wait until day 5 since we knew who the strongest embryos were. We have one that was a 6 cell grade 2, hopefully it will make it to freezing stage. I am/was slightly discouraged because I have noticed most transfer at day 5 when the embryo is a blastocyst.

Also, has anyone had success with transferring 2 embryos?
