Did you get the COVID vaccine during your pregnancy?

My fertility clinic encouraged it, as does every major American gynecological group. I got my second dose the day of ovulation and conceived then. I’m 6w+2 now and baby is perfect with a heartbeat♥️ I’m VERY happy I got it! Me and my baby are healthy and safe♥️♥️

The risk to your fetus from the vaccine is non existent, however the risk to you if you get covid can kill you both. I chose to get the shot and then found out I was pregnant. Fist shot was at 6w4d first appointment was at 7w6d baby is fine has a heartbeat. 2nd shot was 9w5d had no side effects, baby is still fine. I had been ttc since May 2014 with miscarriages in 2015 & 2016 I was not taking chances getting covid and dying from it. I work from home and barely leave my house but still not everyone else does and they could spread it to me. Now I’m protected and my baby will be too.

My OB said the vaccine isn’t going anywhere near her pregnant patients. 
I’m not anti-vacation at all. But I do not feel comfortable getting a very new vaccine injected into my body while there is a baby going through sensitive development stages. There’s not enough known about long-term affects for me to justify getting it right now.

I got the vaccine at 34+4. Practically no side effects - just arm hurt really bad for a day and had upset stomach the day after. Other than that no effects on me or my baby. 
I was worried ngl, but consulted my OB and did extensive research and made my decision. According to Pfizer (who’s been testing on pregnant women since February), your unborn baby also gets the antibodies and will have them for approx 6-12 months after birth, which was the main reason I wanted to get it - to feel safe myself and for my baby.
