Hello Fresh?

Question

Has anyone ever done Hello Fresh? If so, did you like it and feel like it was worth it? We got a card in the mail for 12 free meals and I've been wanting to try it out for a while. I'm stuck in a rut when it comes to figuring out dinners.

We had HelloFresh for the longest time. Perfect portion sizes, and I liked how I could see the nutrition facts to track macros. I guess it’s a little expensive, but to combat that, we chose to cut down on our grocery bill. I had the same problem where we were stuck in a rut of eating the same thing and trying to think of new meals. After about a year, I canceled, but saved the recipe cards so I can remake their meals with store bought ingredients.

Totally worth it. Started when I was pregnant and stopped but recently started getting it again. It is pricier without the coupons, but the meals are so good and you can save the recipe cards and remake it! It is definitely taken me outside of my comfort zone when it comes to certain meals and we have loved every single one. We don’t order takeout as much so I figure it may be pricier but we’re actually saving money by not door dashing everything lol 😂

All the meals are really good, I found it to be alittle time consuming though. I like quick recipes and I didn't think it was very quick. I did hello fresh when I was pregnant with June babe so I was probably just tired from that and working lol. Definitely try it out though! Like another person said, you can save the recipe cards and make them later.

It’s good. I find it expensive. We tried it when our oldest wasn’t eating yet and I would never do it now. Everything always seemed fresh and I liked how they sent everything you needed in the correct portion! We also like leftovers and I would have had to order the 4 person size to get that which I wasn’t going to do. I like the idea but for my family it wasn’t ideal for our lifestyle.

Totally worth it!! Great quality meals! Perfect portion sizes and very tasty! Just be careful, they tell you it’s free, and then they start charging your card for more!

I love it! It is a bit expensive without the coupons. It is great to try new recipes! We are going to look at the prices without coupons later this week to see if it is still worth buying.

My mom swears by Hello Fresh. She’s pretty much tried every single home delivery food subscription and that’s her favorite. I’d have to agree, from what I’ve tasted, they usually send pretty healthy looking produce/meats and the meals have good flavor (I love well seasoned/sauced meals lol.) Easy to prepare also! 
The only con in my opinion is the portion sizes are kind of small for our family. When I say “our family” I pretty much mean my boyfriend 😂 because he basically only eats one huge dinner for the day since he does hard labor so I’d have to order 4 servings instead of 2 to feed the three of us.
