In my personal opinion, I wouldn't do friends with benefits. I'm in a relationship right now but it's a friend with benefits kinda type of relationship &I wouldn't do it. I like him a lot but I would worry that if he isn't texting me he is texting someone else or if he isn't hanging out with me he is with someone else & even though he assures me that I'm the one he wants to be with I still don't believe it because well we are just friends. Again in my opinion being FWB will only work if you know you will be something more &not just stay in the middle &not move.

If that's the kind of relationship you want right there, there is NOTHING wrong with that. I was FWB for a few months and we stopped hanging out, he moved away, and we're still friends and keep in touch! Doesn't mean you have to marry the guy, but there's nothing wrong with enjoying the company of someone (amongst other things lol) until you're ready to be in a real relationship. Enjoy your life!! Meet people, that's what it's all about!

in a similar situation now. but intentions are so up in there air. it sucks because we just fell into this out of no where. I've cared about him since we became "friends" so it's not a good situation..

I had a something similar to a friends with benefits relationship. I told him I didn't want to put a label on our relationship. He ended up falling way harder for me then I did for him. I ended up "cheating" on him because I didn't feel like we were committed. It didn't end well to say the least.
