2 month shots - how did your baby react?

Question

My daughter just received her 2 month shots yesterday and was up for a while but went into a deep sleep around 4pm yesterday and it’s is almost 10am this morning and she’s still sleep. She wakes up every 2-4 hours a to eat but she is fussy if we try to keep her up. I’d love to hear some other mom’s experiences. I’m sure her immunity is just building up, but I’m a FTM and a bit nervous.

Yeah my LO did about the same thing after her shots. Slept for the rest of the day into the next day, only slightly waking to eat and promptly falling right back to sleep. Within 24 hours she was fine. I think between their body receiving the shots and the screaming they do afterwards they just wear themselves out lol. My oldest did similar

Mine was extra sleepy. When he woke up from an extended nap (5 hours after shots), he woke up screaming (he never does this) so I gave Tylenol...after about 15 minutes of screaming mixed with fussing he was asleep again.  He slept a lot more than normal but was still waking every 3-4 hours (uully he does 1-2 hour naps).
By the next day he was still sleeping more but otherwise normal (no Tylenol needed).

My daughter was extra fussy and wouldn’t sleep. However we came down with a cold right when she got her shots so that may have also been a factor.

Totally normal for her to be sleepy like that it’s actually a good thing and means her immune system is reacting well to the shots my lo just had hers to and did the same but also got
Very fussy for a day now back to normal

Extra sleepy baby for the rest of the day here. He was going 4 hrs instead of 3 for feeding and wasn't staying awake as long during his "wake" period. He was back to normal by the next day.
