How long in between pumping sessions?

Anyone pumping every 4 hours? Did you notice a big decrease in your supply? I'm pumping every 3 hours, 8 times a day and now started to wait an extra hour and do it every 4 hours. I feel like that's what I do all day. I want to pump less and spend more time with my toddler and my baby.

As my daughter got older I did space out my pumping sessions more and just added a bit more time to each session so overall I was pumping the same amount of time per day. By the time she was 6 months old I only pumped 3 times per day, and then dropped down to twice per day by 7 months the weaned shortly after because I had 4,000+ ounces in the freezer and it was enough to get her to a year.

Following. I'm wanting to do similar. Like go 4 hours during the day then 5 hours at night so I can get 4 hours of sleep at night.
