Has anyone heard cantaloupe is bad during pregnancy??

I just ate half a cantaloupe and idk why I decided to google if it's good to consume while pregnant and I read a lot of mixed thing's. My doctor didn't say anything about eating it. I was just curious if anyone else has eaten it and are fine?

I think it’s just precut that needs to be eaten with caution. There is more of a risk of food borne illness with any premade grocery foods. 
Bought whole and cut up yourself is fine as far as I’ve heard.

The concern is the outside of the cantaloupe and any melon. Just wash the outside before you cut it and you are fine. I ate a lot of melons with every pregnancy.

I think it’s super good for you (folate?), but the concern is the bacteria on the skin. The Listeria that is found on deli meats is also found on melon skin.
