I took the trigger shot yesterday morning and I did the ovulation tests this morning, am I really ovulating or can the trigger shot give me false positives? Tia!

The trigger forces you to release the egg. It creates this positive and will also create a false positive on an hcg until it is completely out of your system.

Most people ovulate 36 hrs after trigger.  The only way to tell if it worked is to have a progesterone blood test done 8 days after your trigger shot.
