Gross but... foamy poop for my breastfed 1 month old? 💩

My 1 month old has been having foamy poops for the past week or so. She is also going through some acid reflux issues. Has anyone else had the foamy poop thing with their babies and any advice? This is my 3rd baby and I’ve never experienced anything like this with the other 2!

It’s completely normal, but apparently it’s from too much foremilk. As for acid reflux, I removed dairy from my diet per the pediatrician to see if it let up and it did! She also prescribed us fomotidine too to try, but the dairy removal helped a lot. Also, having them stay straight up for about 20-30 after eating and sucking a pacifier if you use one helps.

Foamy poop can be a sign that baby is getting too much foremilk if you arE nursing. What you can do is pump for a few min then nurse baby. Either wAy I’d snap a pic and ask ped - they’re used to assessing poo haha
