Check in 16 may
Hi everyone, how have you been doing?
I was discharged from the hospital today after being admitted with intense pain (which the clinic doctors totally underplayed). Turns out that I had an internal bleeding after the retrieval. So they admitted me, gave me meds (including antibiotics) and today I'm much better, all is under control. The doctors in the hospital recommended me to think about a freeze-all cycle because of the inflammation. But the fertility clinic thinks I should go ahead. I'm so conflicted... I'm on NHS, so I'm not sure of the fertility clinic has my best interest in mind (if I fail, they basically won a new customer, as my embryos will be hostages, and transferring them to another clinic is highly complicated)... So if I decide for a freeze-all I may lose my funding. At the same time the embryologist said that 5 embryos made to day 3, but they are not looking amazing... Apparently the quality criteria to freeze an embryo is higher than to transfer, so it's very possible I won't have embryos to freeze, but may have to transfer..
Transfer is provisionally scheduled to Tuesday.
Send me comforting stories. And tell me how you been going through.
