Hi. I was on mirena for 5 years then switched to the pill in the last couple years. My boyfriend was away for work for a few months and the pill was really affecting me mentally so I went off of it in December to current to take a break.

I use this app to track my periods, ovulation etc during the Time I’ve been off the pill. Period has been starting anywhere from the 10th to the 15th these last few months. It’s predictions have been accurate as far as the dates.

My periods have always been heavy - like I soak a tampon in 3 hours all 7 days. Even on the pill.

Well we had sex 04/26/21. We didn’t use protection and totally spaced that I haven’t been taking the pill. Figured since he’s back, should probably start taking it. I took one 04/27/21 but then noticed on the app that I was actually ovulation 04/26/21, the day we had sex.

So I didn’t take anymore pills and haven’t since. I’ve had some symptoms not typical to just pregnancy but not my normal pms symptoms - different taste, indigestion, fatigue, overheating.

Glow predicted my period to start 05/12/21. On 05/10/21 I started bleeding BUT - it was Light. Way lighter than any period I’ve ever had but a little more than spotting. Lasted three days as a light flow and then two day of spotting (total of 5 days).

Not normal for me. I took a test this morning just to see but it was negative.

This is just nit normal for me so I’m a little confused. Always had a really heavy flow. I didn’t even fill a full tampon throughout the three days of light bleeding. I did get pregnant many years ago before I started the birth control but never had symptoms for that one other than no period. But that resulted in miscarriage and think it was a chemical pregnancy.

The only think I can think is that one pill three off my period but that’s never happened. I can’t even skip a period on the pill as I pretty much start bleeding ASAP, it might end it early but never lightens it.

Sorry for the lengthy post, just want to give enough details. Thoughts???
