My mixed heritage son (white and black) was born with lots of hair. It went curly when wet but dried kinky.

My husband cut his hair at 2months old. He is now 7months and his hair is slowly growing but it looks very straight now! The sides poke out (starting to stick out) straight and at the very top very fine strands stand up. Still quite short hair but one or two longer strands will bend over/loop but only one or two strands..lol

I’m so intrigued as to what his hair will be like.

Does hair that lifts at the sides mean it will curl?
