When to start using silicone on scar?

Hi everyone I had my c-section almost 4 weeks ago. When should I start putting the silicone scar strips or other scar cream on it to help fade the color?

I started putting the silicone patches on as soon as my bandages fell off. I think it was around 2 weeks PP.

Unless its keloid itll soften out on its own with time. I wouldnt use anything on it if you dont have to

I would ask your doctor. I have had two c sections so far and I imagine you wouldn’t want to put anything on it until it’s at least fully healed. I wouldn’t want anything seeping in.
