Posted in another forum but random questionn
So yesterday upon arriving to work I had a bad cough, a runny nose, and an irritated throat. I dont have a fever but i get dizzy too.
Its now 5 am and I am supposed to work tonight too but I feel awful and im tired of coughing up a lung when im in a patients room. So today I was going to be seen by a doctor and get an excuse for tonight and call in just in case but if its nothing contagious they want you to come to work.
My question is, if I get an excuse from the doctor for tonight and my manager asks me my diagnosis do I legally have to tell her? (Because honestly im worried its something but if she thinks its nothing she will tell me to come in) so if I go and if I can be excused for today do I LEGALLY have to tell her my medical diagnosis or just tell her im having symptoms and would feel better if I stayed home just to be safe?
