Tips for losing weight? Iron deficiency
So I recently found out I was iron deficient and only just didn’t have iron anemia. I’ve always been the skinny but not boney person until a few years ago. Since then I put weight and I want to lose it.
With the low iron my mother says it may be hard to lose weight. I really want to lose the weight as when I put it on I started to get depressed, stressed out and embarrassed which didn’t help with handling my iron.
At family gathering people ask me if I’m pregnant cause I’ve gained weight and it takes a toll when that’s the question almost everyone asks. The reason I went and got diagnosed was because on a day out into a city an hour train ride away I got sick. I was with my younger siblings and was responsible for them but I ended up on the bathroom floor in a McDonald’s.
My mother calls them turns when they happen and they only ever happened at home before so when it happened in public we decided I should try and get help. I’ve just started iron tablets and they seem to be working but I would like to try and get back to my normal weight so I feel more comfortable and healthy. (And so everyone shuts up😂)
Any advice on exercise I should be doing?
Things I should avoid?(obviously junk😂)
Things that would boost my iron?
Anything that would help me be healthier again.
