I'm 45 and TTC with my 31 year old partner. I have irregular periods - but still have periods - and I went to my doctor for a 21 day blood test, which showed my FSH levels at a whopping 45.5. As far as my doctor is concerned that's that. No advice, no guidance to supplements to regulate my cycle or lower my FSH, no support, nothing. I asked if I could be referred to a fertility clinic and my doctors receptionist just called to say I've been rejected for an appointment to progress any further. This is the NHS in the UK in 2021, and I am genuinely stunned at the way I have been spoken to and discarded. 😭😭😭
