I ebf so no formula or anything. I live in the usa. Newborns/infants are cheap as long ad you don't need daycare. They get more expensive the older they get.

He was cheap until he went to daycare at $2500/month in USD. The rest was peanuts and I didn’t bother keeping track 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sorry cant recall but i didnt buy much!  We did do formula which was about 100$ a month and diapers but otherwise friends donated clothing so we didnt really buy anything and even if we did we were in onesies all the time so its not like i had hundreds of outfits. I didnt buy much toys either since they dont really play anyways. There are so many diy toys you can make out of things you have around the house

So far, not much. I got all my diapers/wipes before (and at shower), breastfeed... So that's free. I usually just spend money on stupid stuff like bows and cute things for the room or her when I'm bored. Just stock up on things now. People will buy you things too. Someone just came over with diapers, wipes and blankets the other day. Neighbours will do the same if you have good standing w them.

I’m in the US.
When my kids were infants, I spent essentially nothing on them. We cloth diapered and used cloth wipes, which was an initial investment of about $200. We breastfed, so no money spent on that either.
I would buy the occasional outfit here and there, or little toy, but we really didn’t spend much on them at all until they started solid foods, which probably increased our grocery bill a tiny bit.

My son is 11 weeks. I breastfeed, so food is free for him lol. Diapers are the most expensive thing I spend on him currently (about $60 USD a month), A&D ointment/wipes < $10 a month (I buy in bulk so it’s cheaper but average I’m assuming that’s what it is). I buy most clothes used (I got a huge lot before he was born off Facebook marketplace for $35) but if I find something cute I’ll sometimes get it, so we’ll say an extra $10-20 a month on clothes. 
He starts daycare next week when I go back to work, which is $280 a week or $1120 a month. 
There are some other minor or random expenses which don’t occur monthly- like pump replacement parts, breast milk storage bags, baby lotion or medicine, and occasionally I’ll buy books for him but for the most part we go to the library (and he’s little so we read the same books over and over or will read to him from adult books or magazines too).

These were the for sure costs. We got a ton of clothes/bibs/toys at our shower so we didn’t buy those things monthly.
