My 18 month old daughter has been referred for Early Intervention. I reached out to her pediatrician because I felt that as much as I work with her regarding speech, she just isn’t grasping it. She is supposed to say around 20 words were she says about 5 consistently.

I got a call from EI today that they will be reaching out to do their initial evaluation to see if she falls under the category for consistent services. However the EI will be via zoom? How can they properly evaluate her then? I’m just confused.

Anyone go through this recently??
