Does your March baby still use a sound machine at night time?

Question

My husband asked today if we should wean him off. I honestly love that he sleeps with a sound machine on, but now I’m wondering if it’s a “bad” thing.

I think it’s a great tool especially while travelling to keep things consistent for them. Don’t plan on getting rid of it, even letting him decide what sounds he likes when he’s older or if he doesn’t want one at all.

Yes we have a sound machine on white noise and now window into ac which is even more. Baby bro moved in with March toddler very early so we need to help them sleep through each other’s noises. My hubby is worried we will be sending them to college with noise machines. I assured him once they are a bit older we can wean them off. Let’s all just get a bit of sleep first go catch up from back to back babies.

Not a sound machine but she has a Spotify playlist that loops all night. 
Neither my husband or I can fall asleep in silence. I think it's pretty normal that a lot of people, children or adults, like some sort of white noise, music, or the TV

We use the hatch for naps and nighttime but he does just fine without it if we forget at nap time or if he stays at my parents overnight. I keep it more for the “schedule” part. He knows in the morning we don’t come in until sound stops and it changes color.

She sleeps with a fan every night and so do I. I don't see an issue with it at all.

I’m gonna try to wean it as I don’t think my son really needs it anymore- he has had naps and slept at night without it etc. but we also live in a city and during the work week there’s loud construction. I just have been turning it lower volume when I don’t think it’s loud background noise.

I sleep with one on too. I’ve lowered the volume in his gradually. It doesn’t block out all noises it’s just a soothing background sound.

I don’t think it’s bad. Plenty of people use white noise machines as adults.
