Anyone have a high hcg and it ended up being down syndrome?

Nicole

I'm a bit anxious. My hcg test came back high for the GA. I'm fairly certain of my ovulation date, I tracked with opks and temping. My test turned positive at 9dpo, and progressed as it does with the first 1-2 weeks of urine test strips.

My hcg is 100800 for 6w5d lmp, which according to my lab is double the high range for this week (4-5 weeks GA or 6-7weeks lmp) and already slighly higher than the range for the next week (5-6 weeks GA or 7-8weeks lmp). I thought maybe I was a couple days off for ovulation, but even then the hcg would already be increasing outside of the normal range for the 7-8 week mark.

Twins are nowhere in my family, and pretty rare in general, so I highly doubt it's multiples. I am much more concerned it's pointing to downs or another genetic abnormality. I miscarried in Feb, and am generally just worried now about this pregnancy.

Anyone have experience with high hcgs and ended up being down syndrome? Or nothing, just a singleton with no identified disorder?

Thanks! ❤

Also, my hcg at 6w3d with the last pregnancy was 7700...that baby progressed until 7 weeks then stopped growing. It was in normal range so I wasn't expecting to miscarry...and now I'm just shocked at how high it is this time, especially considering I really don't have any symptoms (yet).
