Yes in a way, but I’m many situations (especially in this past decade as we have more access to info ) peer pressure can be good. Like I know so many people who would refuse to drive with someone who has been drinking, or who drives to fast, or without a seatbelt. Or eating healthier, being active￼, and being financially independent. All good things to feel pressure for from the people around us

I feel like there’s not only peer pressure to get the vaccine - but in the state I’m from, there’s even more pressure not to get it. It’s kind of crazy. Half the people I know are conspiracy theorists and against the vaccine…the other half is down your throat about getting it. It’s to the point that it’s awkward when someone asks if I am vaccinated or not. In my mind I’m like why do you want to know? Am I going to be ridiculed for my decision? Judged?

I think it depends where you are from. I'm in Canada and my neighbour came at me, just ran over when I was getting out of my car from grocery shopping, and asked if I had been vaccinated yet. We couldn't because of the rules yet, since at the time you couldn't get it if you were under 30. But she said "Oh no, you can get it because you're fat" which was super inappropriate/rude.
I feel a lot of pressure to get vaccinated from different family members and the public in general, but I don't feel comfortable yet. I had a friend evacuated by helicopter due to complications from the vaccine and I had a great uncle found unresponsive on the floor because of the vaccine. So I'm just a little bit concerned. I know eventually I am going to have to get it, but I am scared that I'll be in that small percentage of people who get blood clots and dies.

Depends on your peers. Surround yourself with people who support the vaccine and they’ll probably encourage you to get it. Surround yourself with people who do not support the vaccine and they’ll probably tell you not to get it.
