Not ovulating, no period. Next steps?

Hi, I am TTC this month the doctors tested progesterone which showed I did not ovulate this month. I am day 44 still no period. I’ve got a apt with my doctor in a few days to discuss. I was just wondering if anyone else had been through this and what the next steps were?
