Egg Retrieval was a Bust
I’m so devastated. I had my first retrieval yesterday and they only got 4 eggs, 3 mature, and only 1 fertilized. I am 40 years old with amh at 2.49 so they expected me to respond fine. I took menopur form at 74 and follistim at 150 for 7 days. My scans showed I had about 12 follicles but they only got 4 eggs. So discouraging, has anyone else been through this? Did you get better results on try 2? How about donor eggs? Anyone try that? Cost?
