Have you transitioned your January baby to a toddler/big kid bed?

Just wondering how many January babies have transitioned from their crib yet. We transitioned our 16 month old from her crib to a full size bed 2 days ago. I’m so glad we did it because she did so well!

I was told that there is no need to transition (unless you want to of course) until the toddler can climb out of the crib. I personally don’t think I’ll transition my son until he’s maybe 2.5-3 years old. He moves SO much in his crib, I am too scared he will fall out of the bed.

I have no intention to transition anytime soon. We transitioned with our oldest around this age (only bc she figured how to climb out) and she knocks on the door every time she wants out. 
She honestly mentally wasn’t ready to be out of the crib but due to her height and flexibility she was able to get out of the crib pretty easily. 
Thankfully my son hasn’t shown any signs of trying to get out of the crib.

He never liked his bassinet, so we bed share. Got him a crib months ago he doesn’t sleep through the night in it so we gave up. Baby #2 is due in November so that will be new baby’s crib & we will bed share until he’s ready for his own bed 🛏

She's been in a twin bed in her own room for about 4 months now. She was never in a crib but went from bedshare to bassinet next to the bed to a crib mattress on the floor on the far side of the room and finally to her own room.

Not until she can climb out! Hopefully a long while until that happens, I'm honestly surprised she hasn't done it yet!

Last night was his third night he did really well the first two nights but last night he woke up at 3o’clock in the morning and climbed back into bed with me that my husband and our daughter she’s three and we still haven’t got her out of the bed got to get one of them out before my belly gets too big with this third baby I’m gonna keep putting him in his own bed every night
