How long did it take for your period to return after stopping contraceptives?

I started taking oral BC pills when I was 17. I was on the pill for 15 years and just stopped 2 months ago.
How long did it take for your body to figure out the new norm after quitting contraceptives?
We’re hoping to start trying soon, but I’m waiting for my body to get used to its natural hormones and for my period to start. I’m having this conversation with my OBGYN at my annual this week, but I’m curious to hear how long it took for you.

A few months the first time I think like 5 and the second time only a couple months
