Hyphenated nn potential for “Nell”
We love the name Nell but our last name begins with the long “Ee” sound, so Nellie is problematic as a nickname because it bleeds into our last name. Thinking about giving her a middle name that can be a buffer between the sounds. Do all these sound too “southern USA”?! 😆
