Any other c section mamas?

I had a c section on the 21 just wondering how it is for you mamas how's the pain and the healing process going

I’m almost two weeks PP after a scheduled c section. I’ve felt much better the last few days and I’ve weaned my pain meds considerably. I think I overdid it a bit the first few days home, there’s so much to do! I recommend just taking it easy and resting as much as possible. I’m still dealing with some foot/ankle swelling. It was pretty bad (I would describe them as “bricks with toes”) but I’ve been forcing myself to put my feet up more often which is helping.

My c section was on the 3rd and I’m grateful that by 3 weeks out I’m feeling greAt!  I definitely took care to not bend or carry heavy things but was mobile and pretty active and it makes a difference in your recovery.

One month postpartum and I am feeling really good! Incision is healing well and I only have the smallest bit of soreness occasionally. I feel very fortunate that my healing process has gone well. The hardest part for me was having to get my blood pressure under control as my BP spiked at 38 weeks causing an emergency c. How are you feeling?

I had one on the 4th after a week I was feeling like myself again, didn't need pain meds and my scar is not bad at all, u can barely tell, my belly was also back to normal size by day 7

5 weeks post c section and feeling great! My incision did get infected around week 3  but antibiotics cleared it right up. I still have occasional soreness in my lower stomach otherwise it’s like it never happened

I had a c section one week ago and my recovery has been a lot harder than when I gave birth vaginally to my son. The pain has made simple things like getting in and out of bed and sitting up to breast feed so much harder. I’m also struggling emotionally with not being able to lift my 2 year old and do things for him like I used to. I’m hoping it gets better soon.
